UK Black Business Show (UKBBS) announced today that it has signed an agreement with HSBC UK that extends their title sponsorship of the UK Black Business Show, headline partner of UK Black Business Week and the launch of the Birmingham Black Business Show for the next two years.
HSBC UK’s extended partnership with UKBBS follows the announcement earlier this month that UKBBS will launch the Birmingham Black Business Show, at the NEC Birmingham, just 20 minutes from HSBC’s UK headquarters in central Birmingham.
Of the partnership, Stuart Tait, Head of Commercial Banking, HSBC UK said,
“We are committed to ensuring that access to finance is fair and open to all entrepreneurs and are pleased to extend our sponsorship of the UK Black Business Show in both London and Birmingham.”
The UK Black Business Show will be returning to London this October at our new home, the Business Design Centre on the 22nd October.
Now in its 6th year, the show and week will feature content to inspire and connect Black professionals and entrepreneurs. Confirmed speakers for 2022 include Sir Lenny Henry, Jenny Francis, Trevor Nelson MBE, Lorraine Wright MBE and writer and host of Channel 4’s ‘How Not To Be Racist’, Chanté Joseph.
Raphael Sofoluke, CEO/Founder said of this year’s show,
“As a company our ethos is to inspire Black entrepreneurs and professionals thrive within the business industry. After successful partnership with HSBC in 2021 it is with great pleasure we are able to share that we will be extending this relationship for a further two years. HSBC, one of the leading multinational investment banks have shown a commitment to levelling the playing field for Black entrepreneurs and professionals and we believe this partnership allows us to take strides in ensuring that.”
Michael Adeniya, COO added,
“The team and I are thrilled to extend our incredible partnership by a further two years. The show is the perfect arena to enable entrepreneurs, professionals and allies to connect and accelerate new opportunities for personal and business growth.”
