Planned rail & tube strikes during #UKBBWeek 2023

There are planned train strikes across the Aslef rail and RMT London Underground networks in October 2023 including Wednesday 4th October and Friday 6th October which may affect your travel to #UKBBWeek 2023. We’ve outlined below some useful links to keep an eye on your local transport availability as well as some alternative options such as driving to the venues affected.

Wednesday 4th October

Alternative travel to the ILEC Conference Centre for Black STEM Careers Fair and Black Tech Experience events.


ILEC is a quarter of a mile (400m) from the A4, providing easy access to the M4, M5 and M40.


There is a car park adjacent to ILEC Conference Centre at Ibis Hotel (1 min walk). Please note that the parking is NOT managed by ILEC Conference Centre.

Friday 6th October
