Area Director for North & East London MME team.

She has 23 years of banking experience doing various roles in Retail, Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking and Acquisition Finance. She holds an MA in Economics and an MBA (Executive) degrees. She has spent last 12 years leading team in various parts of banking.

She was a Non-Exec Director for a Charity and sat on an Advisory Board for a London University where she is also a Visiting Professor. She is passionate about education and leads many Primary school projects.

Maria is passionate about learning and development. She has invested time in her own development throughout her career and more recently in various leadership programmes. She has been involved in female talent Programmes, ethnicity & inclusion strategy and various other Bank initiatives.

She lives in Kent and has two kids aged 12 and 9. She enjoys cricket, travelling, cooking and organising charity events.
